The Kohler Group, PLLC is proud to announce that Carrie Pitts will be continuing with our practice as a full-time clinician, pending licensure approval. After successfully completing her internship with The Kohler Group, PLLC, Carrie will now be transitioning into a full-time role upon licensure approval.

Carrie brings valuable life and ministry experience that serves our clients well. She is a devoted Christian and is active in her local church where she volunteers in the Infant through fifth grade, Middle School, and Foster Family Care Ministry. Carrie is on the Board of NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Iredell Affiliate. She facilitates a Family Support Group for those who have loved ones battling mental illness.

Carrie is trained in Sand Tray Therapy, a therapy used for children and adults with trauma. Carrie has a deep desire to help women and children heal from trauma and abuse. She continues to grow her skills in Re-Decision Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Trauma-Focused CBT.

Carrie graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a BA in Psychology in December 2022 and will graduate from Liberty University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in December 2025.

Carrie was born and raised in Upstate New York and moved to North Carolina in 2005 where she has been raising her two incredible daughters, the light of her life, while pursuing her second career, her true calling — Christian Counseling. Carrie and her daughters recently welcomed a child in need through the local Foster Care system.
